Don Chong – Who Am I?

Hello, interviewer, friend, and future me.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I’m Don, a computer engineering graduate, full-stack programmer, and a chef. But these are parts of my journey, not the whole of who I am.

As a kid, I was fascinated by the giants of history: Gauss, Descartes, Feynman. Seeing their names across equations, philosophy, and even the arts inspired a dream — to learn everything the world has to offer. Over time, I came to accept that I’m an ordinary person, with average intelligence and average discipline. But maybe I have a bit more curiosity than most. That curiosity has kept me exploring new ideas and digging deeply into whatever I’m working on, whether it’s programming or cooking.

No matter where life leads me, or how AI changes the world, I hope I’ll always be a lifelong learner, and forever thinking and trying what I like.
